Nestled amidst picturesque landscapes, Stari Mlin offered an inviting escape that beautifully blended charm and convenience. The friendly staff provided a warm welcome, speaking both German and English, which was a lovely touch for international guests. Our immaculate room boasted a flat-screen TV, a well-appointed private bathroom, and a serene mountain view that made every morning delightful. The terrace and garden area were perfect for leisurely breakfasts, and we thoroughly enjoyed some delicious local cuisine grilled on the barbecue. If one has a squeamish disposition, be mindful of occasional wildlife-the odd spider or fly made its presence known, but after a gentle intervention, I was able to enjoy tranquil nights undisturbed. Located just a short drive from the enchanting Plitvice Lakes National Park, Stari Mlin is ideal for both adventure seekers and those yearning for a romantic getaway. Perfect for couples or small family outings, it undoubtedly has a tale worth telling!
